During the 2008 presidential election, conservatives knew exactly what we were getting with the junior senator from Illinois, Barack Obama. We knew of his relationships with the Reverend Jeremiah Wright and Weather Underground leader Bill Ayers. We knew of his socialist tendencies, such as his thoughts on redistributing wealth. We knew that his wife was finally proud of her country because of her husband’s chances of becoming the next occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. So, we are approaching two years of the Obama presidency. How bad could it possibly get? This bad.

How completely and utterly backwards is the thinking by the administration? On one hand, you have a perfectly good law furthered by the Arizona legislature to protect the safety and security of its own citizens, and on the other, Eric Holder wants to waste resources and our taxpayer dollars to sue Arizona because he, and others in the administration, feel the law is “unconstitutional.” Have they got around to reading the law yet? Instead of the lawsuit, why doesn’t the Obama administration address the proposed Mexican mafia hit on Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu? Or the fact that Phoenix has become the Kidnapping Capital of the U.S thanks to the Mexican drug cartels?
Even more stunning is this New Black Panther case that was mysteriously dropped by the Department of Justice for lack of evidence. Former lawyers at DoJ, risking their own careers, are now blowing the whistle on Holder for not following through. Why was the case dropped? Was the voter intimidation and the rants from King Samir Shabazz that demanded “killing white babies” not enough to push the case forward against these upstanding gentlemen?
Those are just two prime examples of the out of whack priorities of the current administration. Tack those on to Obama’s political posturing on foreign affairs (the Gaza flotilla incident and subsequent fallout with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu), the dismantling of our healthcare system, the out of control spending habits of Congress and you have a recipe for catastrophe. You have to ask yourself, when these incidents arise, what kind of country is this?
