Negative campaigning isn’t just for TV anymore.  This cycle, it seems, the “negative website” has become all the rage.  Here are two recent examples:

This site spoofing gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist has hit a nerve here in Tallahassee and has spread like wild fire.  Here’s an article about the web ad.

Meanwhile, in Ohio, Jim Petro has launched a website to attack Ken Blackwell.  The website accuses Blackwell of being a hypocrite.  The Blackwell camp has responded by pointing out Petro’s hypocrisy on the life issue (As recently as 1998, Petro was endorsed by a pro-abortion rights group).
