Expose the Left: Rangel Thought Clinton Perjury Was Wrong, Voted Against Impeachment

Ian Schwartz at Expose the Left has video of Rep. Charlie Rangel’s appearance on the “O’Reilly Factor” last night. The New York Democrat’s conversation with guest host Tony Snow started out with a focus on Vice President Cheney’s hunting accident, but Rangel quickly turned it into an attack on Scooter Libby, Cheney’s former chief of staff.

As Ian correctly observers:

Rangel says that he doesn’t “think you’re supposed” to commit perjury if you are the President, basically saying it is wrong to do so. However, Rangel voted nay on the article that would impeach Clinton for the act. In fact, he not only voted against that article, he voted against all of the articles of impeachment.
