Not only have they been de-funded, now a former official with the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) is complaining of the agency being ??¢â???¬?????blackballed,??¢â???¬ according to LifesiteNews.com/CatholicWorldNews. The Bush administration stopped funding the population control operation after it was implicated in coerced sterilizations and abortions in China.

Most recently the administration refused to fund an international health conference in June that featured the UNFPA and other pro-abortion groups and has warned groups, such as UNICEF, that their funding could be jeopardized if they insist on cooperating with the Population Fund.

Expressing the anger of the population control crowd, Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY) asked, ??¢â???¬?????When will the President's right wing be satisfied - when they close down the UN???¢â???¬
