After the popularity of the "Iraqi Most Wanted" Deck of Cards, HUMAN EVENTS has introduced a new deck of cards developed with its conservative audience in mind. "The 52 Most Dangerous Liberals in America" Card Deck features the politicians, Hollywood 'activists,' and media elite who pose the worst political threats to America. This card deck has been met with roars of laughter by conservatives since its introduction late last month.
The list of the "52 Most Dangerous Liberals" is a compilation based on a survey of HUMAN EVENTS subscribers. When HUMAN EVENTS subscribers were asked to vote for the top four people they considered to be the "Most Dangerous Liberals," more than 1,500 votes were cast.
To no one's surprise, Hillary Clinton won this vote by a landslide, making her the Ace of Spades. In fact, 97% of those who submitted a list included Hillary at least once. Some subscribers even included explanations with their votes, describing Hillary as a "total socialist" who "seems to have a tap into idiots that vote." Another subscriber described Hillary as "a person who has never had an original thought of her own and who looks for every opportunity to villainize people who work hard and do well in life while she herself grows richer and richer off the backs of the taxpayer."
HUMAN EVENTS subscribers had plenty to say about the other politicians, celebrities, and media included in the deck. Tom Daschle, Ace of Diamonds, was described as a "wimpy little turd." Joe Lieberman, Seven of Diamonds, was called out by one subscriber as a "left-wing liberal who has successfully co-opted the false title of 'moderate.'" "The worst thing???" commented one subscriber of Jack of Diamonds Al Sharpton, "is that his hair is not the worst thing."
Of course, the most embarassing liberal comments usually come from liberals themselves. Each card in the "52 Most Dangerous Liberals in America" Card Deck includes a self-damning quote. Dick Gephardt, King of Clubs, boasts, "When I'm President, we'll do executive orders to overcome any wrong thing the Supreme Court does tomorrow or any other day." Walter Cronkite, Three of Hearts, representing the media, commented, "I think most newspapermen by definition have to be liberal; if they're not liberal, by my definition of it, they can hardly be good newspapermen."
Hillary Clinton, Tom Daschle, Ted Kennedy, and Bill Clinton were all "honored" as Aces. Joker status was given to Phil Donohue and James Carville.
