LIBBY EMMONS and JACK POSOBIEC: Neocons squandered 9/11, globalists used it to launch a culture war

"The neocons definitely squandered 9/11. But you know who didn't squander 9/11 was the globalists."

The Post Millennial Editor-in-Chief Libby Emmons appeared on Human Events Daily with Jack Posobiec ahead of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, where they spoke about what took place in the US after the attack and how it was "squandered" by neocons, but that it was used by left-wing globalists to start a culture war about Islamophobia.

Posobiec, addressing the attack, said that "we were told by our government that we need to open our doors to mass third world migration from the Middle East. At the same time that we were also told that we had to go and invade Iraq, which had nothing to do with it."

He spoke about how then-Bush administration official Donald Rumsfeld, on the day of 9/11, was reportedly talking about how the US could use the attack to go after Saddam Hussein in Iraq. "He was saying that on the very day he was texting that. Libby, we squandered—and when I say we, I mean the neocons—the neocons squandered 9/11."

Emmons agreed, and added that the people who took advantage of the attack were the globalists who were intent on using the attack as a cudgel regarding "islamophobia."

"The neocons definitely squandered 9/11. But you know who didn't squander 9/11 was the globalists, as you mentioned. The globalists came in strong. They said that the real problem after 9/11 was Islamophobia, and they launched a culture war just like that," Emmons said.

She said that is now why there has been a "slow but steady invasion of ideology that directly conflicts with American values" in places like New York City, where socialist Zohran Mamdani has become mayor.

Emmons said that after the attacks on 9/11, there was a "huge push from Arab-American advocacy groups pushing into the US to change the curriculum" in schools regarding Islam and Islamophobia to claim that " jihad wasn't really a bad thing" and to downplay Sharia law.

"These are things that are in American textbooks, they're in American textbooks because the entire publishing industry and academia were like 'Oh no, we're the problem, we're at fault for 9/11, let's make sure it doesn't happen again by capitulating to the very ideals that sought to destroy us.'"
