Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec on Monday broke down the news out of Brazil regarding its elections, and the decision just moments after polls were supposed to close to extend voting hours. He brought on Intel Report host Thomas Corbett-Dillon, who spoke on how the “left’s playbook” of lawfare is being played out and how globalists hate Flavio Bolsonaro like they do Trump.

Corbett-Dillon noted that in places where USAID funds have dried out in South America, those places are “moving to the right.” He said that polling numbers leading into the runoff election in Brazil on Sunday showed a victory by right-wing candidate Flavio Bolsonaro over incumbent Lula da Silva.

Lula had lost the first round of voting but came out on top on Sunday by a slim margin. Just moments after polls had started to close around the country, a Supreme Court justice who previously served as Lula’s personal attorney ruled that polling places could remain open for two more hours, but that places already closed could not be reopened. Corbett-Dillon said the polls that remained open were in areas that favored Lula.

“As we've seen, this is the left’s playbook. They love this lawfare. It's the only way they can win. They get these judges that you know are in their pockets. We saw it with the president.” He added, “the lawfare against President Trump was unbelievable.”

Posobiec drew parallels to the 2020 election in the United States, saying that “there is always these questions about how was the election conducted, what actually happened here, why was the rule book completely thrown into the garbage bin.”

“The most important part is they say you are not allowed to ask questions. You're not allowed to ask a single question about it. And if you do, we will censor you. We will take you down from social media. We will strip you of your ability to speak in the modern public square, which is the digital public commons. We will not allow it. We will not allow any dissent, or we'll, you know, vigorously fact check you with, you know, and label you as misinformation simply for asking the question that we're told that there is exactly what we're supposed to be asking about, fighting for our democracy. Why is that?

Corbett-Dillon replied, “Well, that's a great question because look, as we've seen, and they do this thing, they all rush out to congratulate and say, ‘Wow, what a great victory,’ and imply that anyone that sort of asks a question about this is crazy conspiracy— They love calling everyone a conspiracy theorist.”

He spoke on the European leaders that have come out to congratulate Lula, saying “What they hate is anyone that's on the right. They hate the Bolsonaros. They're very very eager for them to go to jail.” He noted the transgender politician in Brazil who wants Flavio Bolsonaro’s passport revoked so he can’t leave the country.”

“They want these people in jail. This is their answer to everything. As soon as the people start voting and leaning a little bit to the right, they want everyone in jail. They want to throw these politicians in jail. I mean, they've done it to the to his father, and now they want to put his his son in jail as well. These people are completely out of control.”

He later added that the globalists “realize they're losing power. They are losing South America. Every country in South America now is leaning to the right, which is great. We're seeing the people realize that they don't want this socialism anymore. How long have they had it in South America? And look at the state of it. They're finally fixing.”

“Many such cases that when they lean to the right, these people they panic, they go for the lawfare, and their immediate answer is jail. Send everyone to jail. It's completely insane.”

Corbett-Dillon later added, “Let's get to the bottom of this. And you know, if they won fair and square, they won fair and square. Prove it. Tell us. Great democracy. But no, they don't want any questions. They want just to say this is what's happened. Nothing can be questioned. Luna is the great, the great leader of Brazil, and there's no Bolsonaros anymore. They hate this man in the same way they hate President Trump."
