ROD THOMSON: Dems have a plot to overthrow the US government—and there's verifiable proof

A cabal of hundreds of former American-trained USAID operatives, DSA Marxists, defunded and angry NGOers, and lefty activists, have been organizing and planning the literal overthrow of the U.S. Constitution and American government in favor of an unrecognizable, Third World-style form of decline.

Sure, it sounds like a classic John le Carré thriller, but it is not. It is oh so real that it will make your neck tingle, and not for the sake of entertainment. We have the proof in video and audio files of their organizing and planning.

The invaluable DataRepublican on the indispensable X platform (where would we be if Elon Musk had not bought the Twitter dumpster fire?) broke the story when she discovered the publicly accessible location where an AI note-taker, used by the insurrectionists, posted hours and hours of their Zoom meetings. She verified, began posting and the world shook… well, not exactly because most of the mainstream media performed its normal function of running cover for its allies by ignoring it for their tens of millions of viewers and readers, but pretty close.

The data exists and is terrifying, and the one mainstream media exception is the Washington Post, which while pretending there is nothing to see, proceeded to verify all of DataRepublican’s reporting. The Post reported that a large cadre of former Obama and Biden staffers, retired military officers, former USAID employees and the ever-present "community organizers" are covertly building a plan to end the U.S. federal government as we know it. And they are well-funded — no longer by the U.S. taxpayer, but by deep-pocket anti-America outfits, including by foreign entities.

These are not just disaffected Antifa dweebs living in mom’s basement. Many of these people were trained for this very purpose by the U.S. government. They used their training to destabilize authoritarian regimes around the world and help install new governments more friendly to the U.S., largely without any military intervention. But they are now taking that training and experience and turning it around on the American government, specifically under President Donald Trump. And with the help of the compliant media, it will all look organic to most people, obfuscating that it is a pre-planned coup.

In short, their stated strategy is to flood the streets in cities across the country with so much chaos that President Trump feels compelled to invoke the Insurrection Act and send in the military. Then they gin up confrontations between paid protesters and the military that they ensure end in violence — think of the actions to draw ICE officers into violent conflicts with “protesters.”

At that point, with chaos and violence increasing, they will claim the military is committing atrocities, which they readily capture on highly edited clips for social media, amplified by legions of foreign bots and their allies in the mainstream media. Democrat governors will say they feel compelled to act in unison against federal authoritarianism, which is all being pre-planned now. At that point, they draw up a rewrite of the Constitution, according to the recordings, while promising stability to a frightened American public. The rewrite will do away with the U.S. Senate, a publicity campaign already well underway.

This is something just as ominous that the Washington Post story confirmed separately from the DataRepublican download.

“Over the past several months, the group has consulted with officials from 10 states, including governors, election officials and members of the House and Senate from both political parties who share a fear of federal intervention, two people involved in the effort said.”

It all sounds wild, but forms of this have worked in many countries around the world. They're called color revolutions. And these people or similarly trained ones, have pulled it off. Further, we can see how destabilization can work here by again thinking of the tactics against ICE agents simply enforcing federal law. The first steps of the leaked plan look exactly like the tactics of protesters and law enforcement confrontionalists last winter in places such as Minneapolis and LA.

What could the trigger be? They discussed the midterm elections a lot, particularly if a surprise Republican victory were to provide an opening, claiming Trump actions had delegitimized the results. During a Zoom meeting, Danielle Reiff of the Democracy Renewal Group spoke about the November midterms and what may happen, saying that she is “foreseeing a crisis of legitimacy around the November election.”

It needs to be enough, she said, to “cross red lines” that the insurrectionists can portray as broadly supported by the American people. Of course, these Marxist, deep-state insurrectionists define the red lines to their liking and are fully prepared to take advantage of them.

Perhaps it would be as simple as Republicans holding the U.S. Senate after polls and prediction markets suggested the Democrats win it. And if nothing can be sparked from the midterms, there are other potential trigger points in the form of a potential George Floyd-type opportunity during which, in 2020, we saw so many pre-staged supplies set up for protesters. Barring those opportunities, there is the 2028 presidential election.

These are no longer the stuff of tinfoil hat conspiracy theories. This is real, and in the planning, by people with training, financial backing, and a will to power.
