DANIEL TURNER to JACK POSOBIEC: 'Early voting has eliminated the chance to take your vote back'
"There are thousands of Alaskans right now who are saying, ‘Well, heck! If I knew Mary Peltola was cheating, I wouldn't have voted for her.’"

Jack Posobiec spoke to Power The Future executive director and founder Daniel Turner on Human Events Daily, where they broke down the latest developments out of Alaska following a New York Times report detailing Democrat operatives’ efforts to recruit a candidate by the same name as incumbent GOP Senator Dan Sullivan.
“There is a state that a lot of people are focused on, laser-focused, that could actually determine the majority of the United States Senate. The balance could be Alaska, and we have a massive, massive story brewing there,” Posobiec said, before bringing on Turner.
Turner noted Alaska’s importance to the country overall, with its oil and gas industries and its deposits of rare earth metals and minerals. “So to see these shenanigans happening in the great state of Alaska is frustrating on multiple levels. Especially what it means to the future of American energy if Mary Peltola were to be victorious in her deceit.”
He said that “it’s actually against federal law to willfully try to deceive the voters, and that’s exactly what happened. And the problem is that there’s a paper trail, and the problem for the Peltola campaign is that the media, the mainstream media, of course, is always going to be in bed with you. We know that. But they don’t like to be lied to.”
“And the New York Times came out with this article yesterday because they were lied to, and they're angry, right? The New York Times is like, ‘Hey, look, we're on your side, but at least tell us the truth.’ And the fact that the New York Times found this paper trail of staffers, of correspondence, of calling it a scheme, of emails saying, ‘Hey, this scheme could work,’ and so of course, some random guy named Dan Sullivan can run from the run for the Senate. No one's disputing that. But what you can't do is you can't pay this guy.”
He said that the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee chair Kirsten Gillibrand should be investigated. “You can't have them fly staffers to the states, right? You can't use your money illegally to create this fraud, and that's the problem now. Is it's not just oh hey look a random guy named Dan Sullivan's running. It's like no, we recruited, we found, we paid for, we financed, and that is a level of fraud.”
Turner noted the prosecution of Douglass Mackey for a meme he posted in the 2016 election, with the Biden administration accusing him of trying to defraud voters. “If he went through that much for a Facebook post, what should happen to the Peltola campaign and all these Democrat operatives who are deliberately trying to deceive Alaskan voters?”
Mackey had posted a meme, a joke, saying that Clinton voters should text their votes. The DOJ could not show that anyone was fooled, nor did they prosecute a woman who posted a meme telling Trump voters to vote by text.
Posobiec said it mattered that it was The New York Times putting out the story, not a conservative outlet, because Democrat voters “don't believe anything is real unless it comes from one of their channels.”
He said, “It's The New York Times. That to them is gospel. That is like having Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John walk up to your house and say, ‘This is something that that was just handed down to us.’”
Turner said that the incident has shown why early voting should be eliminated. He said he understood exemptions for mail-in ballots for people like deployed military members and the sick, “but this early voting nonsense, which sometimes is two months in advance, this is why early voting is bad because stuff like this happens in the week of the election, and there are thousands of Alaskans right now who are saying, ‘Well, heck! If I knew Mary Peltola was cheating, I wouldn't have voted for her.’ Well, it's too late now. Your vote was cast exactly in you know early September. So we need to protect our elections, and that's why it is Election Day. Early voting has eliminated the chance to take your vote back.”
