Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec spoke with Evita Duffy about political violence and cultural influence, after Mark Hamill posted an image of a dead Donald Trump alongside the caption “if only.”
“Why do conservatives have this slave mentality? You need to get off the Disney plantation. Stop giving them money.”
Posobiec also referenced his past boycott calls, saying, “I called for #DumpStarWars in 2016, and I have stuck to it for a decade now, a decade.”
He added, “Now here we are at the point where we’ve seen political violence, actual real political violence. Charlie Kirk murdered, three assassination attempts in two years of President Trump. And people like Mark Hamill have created this permission structure for the violent rejects of society to go out and take a step up at it.”
Evita Duffy responded by emphasizing political engagement and consequences for public rhetoric. "And at the same time though, conservatives need to actually grow a spine and say, you know, something, it’s time for us to actually stand up for who we are, because I’ll tell you something right now.
"If we don’t do it, then we are an endangered species because they actually want all of us dead. And because they have not faced any serious consequences for their rhetoric, for their actions, they are going to continue to do them. And not only that, they’re going to ratchet it up."
Posobiec said his question for the audience was whether Hamill "hould be charged the same way that James Comey was charged for calling for the death of the president? That’s what Mark Hamill is doing." He criticized conservative support for major entertainment companies, slamming conservatives as having a "slave morality."
"Conservatives have slave morality for movie franchises like Star Wars. Mark Hamill can go out and do videos with Obama, say that he wants Trump dead. The series goes completely woke under Disney, and yet conservatives still won’t stop throwing money at Star Wars merch, taking trips to Disney, giving money to Disney Plus as the fees and the rates go up every single month, it feels like.”“Why do conservatives have this slave mentality?
