DANIEL HAYWORTH: Netflix's $82.7 Billion Warner Bros. buyout ushers in a new era of woke indoctrination

With Netflix's recent transition into debauchery, such as the recent controversy that depicts alleged pedophilia content in their biggest hit show, Stranger Things, there is no worse time for Netflix to become an even larger influence in the entertainment landscape.

Today, President Obama’s toy corporation, the streaming service Netflix, made one of the most significant entertainment media purchases in recent decades. The media giant announced that it had purchased the historic Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc.

The acquisition will include the company and its film and television studios, HBO and HBO Max, for $ 82.7 billion. In addition, Netflix acquired the Harry Potter franchise, movies such as Casablanca, and multitudes of current television hits and historical classics from the WB archives, which will likely change the trajectory of the streaming media landscape.

Unfortunately, this is a win for the corporate, progressive overlords of the media giant. Netflix has openly embraced moral decadence as a company. This can be seen as recently as in their thinly veiled pedophilia content in their biggest hit show Stranger Things.

It is also not new for Netflix. The company has added transgender, non-binary, and LGBT characters galore into shows specifically targeting kids, including the ones targeted at infants, such as CoComelon.

This deal marks a massive shift in who controls American entertainment, putting it into the hands of an even more woke company. After all, Warner Bros. is one of the most iconic and historic studios in the world.

It helped develop Hollywood into the cultural force that it is today. Now, a single Silicon Valley-driven company obtains not only decades of beloved content but also the creative engines behind HBO, Cartoon Network, and much of modern blockbuster entertainment.

This merger is not just about expanding a business portfolio. It is a strategic conquest of childhood imagination. Netflix has aggressively targeted younger audiences for years.

Whether through cartoons that push gender ideology or teen dramas that glamorize distorted views of sexuality and identity, the company uses entertainment as a tool for reshaping moral foundations.

Parents do not subscribe to expecting political indoctrination. Yet their children often end up served a buffet of messages that mock tradition, family structure, patriotism, and innocence itself.

The relationship between Netflix and former President Barack Obama shows us what is really going on. The former president and his wife, Michelle, signed a major production deal with Netflix shortly after leaving office.

It would be foolish to assume they pursued this partnership to make fun travel shows for retirees or just to make another quick buck. The goal is influence. The goal is shaping messages. The goal is to craft narratives that favor the progressive agenda and embed those values in young viewers' minds before they know how to resist them.

Now with Warner Bros. and HBO under its control, Netflix gains the power to weave this messaging into some of the most beloved franchises and cinematic legends ever created.

Stories that once taught courage, loyalty, and the importance of truth against tyranny will be rewritten, recast, and woven into a new message. Even Classic films that once celebrated honor and sacrifice may instead be treated as evidence of outdated thinking that must now be corrected.

Stories, which have long represented the timeless conflict of good versus evil through the lens of the Christian West, are likely to be rewritten into shallow sermons about social activism.

Children are especially vulnerable to influence because the media shapes their worldview before they have the wisdom to understand manipulation. Instead of letting parents guide moral development, Netflix assumes the authority to define what goodness looks like.

The company already inserts progressive messaging into playful colors and catchy songs so that lessons are absorbed without question. Now it gains access to the catalog that built Hollywood itself. This places the hearts and minds of the next generation in the corporate hands of a company that is very proud of its activism.

Ultimately, this 82.7 billion dollar behemoth of an acquisition by one of the most progressive, predatory corporations on planet earth deserves legislation directed at it, because this is a blatant antitrust violation. A conservative-controlled FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and the GOP-controlled House of Representatives need to take action against the Marxist coalition that has just been built to disenfranchise American families and indoctrinate the minds of our youth. Whether it be the usage of the Clayton and Sherman Acts or imposing fines, this merger needs to be made an example of for the obvious takeover that has been committed for the sole purpose of communist indoctrination.

This acquisition is not an upgrade. It is a takeover by the same left that has the patience to do a long march through every institution. Parents, be on guard.
