“Ladies and gentlemen, we are now living through the largest leftist violence spree since 2020,” Posobiec said. “But here’s what’s different now. The leftists aren’t running around in black blocs. They’re not influencing and organizing with BLM. What are they doing? Targeted killings, targeted assassinations, like the assassination of the man who sat in that chair right next to me, Charlie Kirk.”
Poso's remarks come just hours after authorities confirmed details of a fatal shooting at a Dallas ICE facility. Two detainees were killed and several others wounded when a gunman, later identified as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn, opened fire from a nearby rooftop before killing himself.
Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Dallas Field Office Joseph Rothrock said investigators recovered shell casings from the scene that contained “messages that are anti-ICE in nature.” FBI Director Kash Patel added that an unspent round had “anti-ICE” etched directly into the casing. “These despicable, politically motivated attacks against law enforcement are not a one-off,” Patel said.
Photos released by the Department of Homeland Security showed multiple bullet holes through the facility’s windows. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem issued a statement condemning the attack: “These horrendous killings must serve as a wake-up call to the far-left that their rhetoric about ICE has consequences. Comparing ICE day-in and day-out to the Nazi Gestapo, the Secret Police, and slave patrols has consequences.”
Posobiec connected the ICE attack to a broader pattern. “They will shoot your friends. They will shoot up ABC stations. They will shoot up ICE facilities, killing two,” he said. “And then what will happen? All of their deceptors will go up on ABC, late night with Jimmy Kimmel, run around on social media telling you that it didn’t happen. They’ll put out all of the disinformation that they can.”
He pressed his audience: “How many times does this have to happen before we get some action? How many more bodies and boxes are we going to have to have before someone actually takes this threat seriously? … No, we need to be taking proactive measures and the proactive measures need to come now, not just for law enforcement, but for everyone else who’s in the crosshairs of this violent leftist insanity that is sweeping our nation.”
The attack on ICE in Dallas is the second in as many months in Texas. Earlier this summer, an assailant ambushed another ICE facility near Prarieland. Federal officials say investigations are ongoing, but stress that the pattern is clear.
Posobiec closed bluntly: “Understand the time that it is. Understand what part of the movie you are in. It is not the good part. It’s going to get worse. They are escalating. It’s getting more frequent and it’s getting more deadly.”
