The "pole dancing flash mob" fundraiser hosted by a company called "Mutti Pole Wear," which sells outfits for pole dancers, included a male stripper working the pole while wearing only a G-string in front of minors. The event took place on July 5 from 3 to 6 pm in the family-friendly Kollwitzkiez neighborhood.

Video recordings taken at the event show several scantily dressed men and women dancing one after the other on a pole, spreading their legs, pressing their breasts together, and engaging in other sexual acts. According to European Conservative, one of the performers posted on her Instagram story, writing that "no children were traumatized."
Tickets could be purchased in advance through an online provider, which also offered youth tickets, according to Apollo News. Additionally, children could be seen in the audience watching and cheering for the strippers, including participating in the acts by exchanging ideas with the dancers, per the outlet.
After the performance, the controversial male stripper shared a video of himself spreading his legs in a G-string on his Instagram account under the username "_h00rn" and wrote in the caption: "This performance was not just about showing hoole, spreading my legs, and flying around. It sounds cheesy but it was an act of celebration to be finally able to put myself out there confidently, to forgive my past and to own my present, to manifest my future and to ultimately 'feel good' about the person that I am."

This comes following several similar controversial LGBTQ events that have occurred in recent years, where young children have been present for inappropriate acts. In 2024, a daycare in Kerpen came under fire after it had planned a masturbation room for children, and last year, a Drag Queen Story Hour event in Berlin-Schoneberg discussed coming out as trans to four-year-olds, according to the paper.
