He noted that the suspect’s home suggested a different background than what many might expect. “And again, what we do see though, is that it seems that the home that he was living in… that this seems to be an affluent individual. Those home prices in that area, Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. are very, very high.”
Posobiec then asked whether this profile fits past cases. “What do you make of the idea that this could have been the son of a fairly wealthy, upper middle-class family? Is that a profile that we've seen before anywhere?”
Raw Egg Nationalist said the pattern is unmistakable. “Yeah, yeah. No, it's a profile we all should be familiar with. I mean, I think that what we're seeing is, yeah, I mean, we're seeing a familiar pattern from history.”
He explained that these offenders often do not resemble the stereotype. “These leftist agitators, these anarchist agitators, a lot of them aren't from the lumpenproletariat, as it were. They're not the lowest of the low. They're actually potentially educated people. They're people from wealthy backgrounds.”
Despite those advantages, he said the ideological drive remains the same. “And yet, they share in the leftist goal, the leftist dream of leveling society.”
Cornish-Dale said it would not be surprising if this suspect fit that mold. “It shouldn't be a surprise at all to us if it does turn out that actually this is somebody who is from an affluent background. I mean, Luigi Mangione, he wasn't from a poor background.”
Posobiec replied, “Exactly who I was thinking of.”
Cornish-Dale continued, “Yeah. So, you know, I mean, yeah, we're seeing a pattern emerge and not just a kind of longer-term pattern, but even just a pattern within the last year or so from Luigi Mangione. It's the same kinds of people carrying out these crimes.”
He argued that the trend is predictable — and preventable. “And more attention needs to be paid to them by law enforcement, I think. I mean, these are preventable. A lot of these are preventable crimes. I think law enforcement needs to get ahead of them.”
