Kevin Posobiec, the brother of Human Events Senior Editor Jack Posobiec, interviewed Catholic churchgoers after Sunday Latin mass in Pittsburgh, Pensylvania, a day after the Butler, Pennsylvania rally was hosted by GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump. The rally was notably held on the same ground where Trump was shot at by a would-be assassin and firefighter Corey Comperatore was killed behind him.

When asked how important the Catholic vote is in Pennsylvania, one churchgoer said his state was "the swingiest of swing states" and that the way that PA votes has one of the biggest impacts in presidential elections. Posobiec then reported that "President Trump's talking about creating a federal task force to go against Christian persecution" after thousands of churches were forced to close during the response to Covid. The churchgoers agreed, saying that being Catholic is the most important thing about him and his family. "And if that's under attack that's very central to our identity. So you've got to vote for the person that going to protect them."

Posobiec later spoke with Andrew Ewell, one of the founders of TLM farming, the Catholic Land Movement, in the area. Ewell talked about how Trump played the Ave Maria and had a moment of silence during a dedication for Comperatore. Both agreed that the playing of Ave Maria had nothing but positive influence on Catholic voters in Pennsylvania because of how powerful and meaningful the song is. "Catholic parishes, Catholic action," Ewell stated, "it's a very important vote. I think Trump is our nominee."
