Charlie Kirk showcased reports from the media about the massive border crisis happening in Texas on his show Friday, noting that America could potentially be welcoming illegal immigrants who are trafficking children.
Kirk put things into perspective: "2.3 million illegals have crossed in so far this fiscal year that we know of…that is greater than the population of Wyoming, greater than the population of Montana, greater than the population of North Dakota, South Dakota."
He cut to a clip of Fox News reporting that the number of illegal border crossings this fiscal year has officially passed last fiscal year, totaling 2,388,350 and averaging upwards of 9,000 per day.
Kirk compared the illegal numbers to the national debt and stated, "it would be nice if we had a Republican Party that cared about this."
He reported that "breaking last night, two Republicans are speaking up and they're saying that they're going to do a deal with the Democrats for a clean (dirty) resolution."
Kirk then played a clip in which Mayor Rolando Salinas of Eagle Pass, TX says Biden bears responsibility for the border crisis:
"I haven't heard from anybody in the administration. Nothing. We're here abandoned. We're on the border. We're asking for help. This is unacceptable. Please just enforce the laws that are on the books. We’re a nation of laws. That's all I ask for…it shouldn't be like this, we should be able to enforce laws."
"How does one process having a President Joe Biden and his cabal that hate the country?" Kirk asked.
Wall Street Journal reported that "the surge of migrants stun Texas City on border. Most were expected to request asylum" and that "migrants overwhelmed Texas border city" and "there’s not enough people or resources to maintain order," referring to Eagle Pass.
The WSJ article featured pictures of "fighting age males," some accompanied by children. Kirk pointed out, "We don't know if these kids are actually with these parents. We don't know that because we’re not doing DNA testing."
"We are probably co-sponsoring the greatest child sex trafficking operation in the history of the Northern Hemisphere."
"We could solve this border crisis in an afternoon but we don't want to because [Democrats] don't think it's a problem. They look at it as a benefit," he concluded.
