A drone struck the vacation home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday in northern Israel, as Israel continues its military operations in Lebanon and Gaza. According to Netanyahu's spokesperson, the prime minister was not present at the time of the attack.

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that the drone, which originated from Lebanon, hit an undisclosed building on the property but caused no reported casualties, according to the New York Post. The strike occurred just days after Israel killed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in its ongoing offensive.

Hezbollah, the Lebanese-based terrorist organization known for launching rockets and drones into Israel, did not immediately claim responsibility for the attack. However, the Iran-backed group has carried out a number of rocket and drone attacks against Israel in recent days, including over 100 shots from Lebanon on Saturday. One senior Israeli official suggested that "Iran tried to eliminate the Prime Minister of Israel," as reported by Israel's Channel 12.

In addition to the strike, two more drones were intercepted after crossing into Israeli territory.

In response to the attack, Netanyahu vowed that nothing will deter him and reiterated that Israel is determined to win the ongoing conflict.

“The attempt by Iran’s proxy Hezbollah to assassinate me and my wife today was a grave mistake. This will not deter me or the State of Israel from continuing our just war against our enemies in order to secure our future,” he wrote.

He added, “We will continue to eliminate the terrorists and those who dispatch them. We will bring our hostages home from Gaza. And we will return our citizens who live on our Northern border safely to their homes. Israel is determined to achieve all our war objectives and change the security reality in our region for generations to come.”
