A planned explosion on a film set in London that quickly got out of control and left locals terrified was orchestrated by convicted sex offender and pedophile Jacky Jhaj, the Daily Mail reported in an exclusive story.

Jhaj was naked while the film was being shot, first on Aug. 24 and in a second attempt on Aug. 31. The explosion was ignited with gunpowder and a detonation cord, which blew off the roof of a police van 50 feet in the air during the production of Project Dover.

The performer was incarcerated for four years after being convicted of having sexual activity with two 15-year-old girls. Jhaj was reportedly entirely naked while the explosion scene was filmed. As scripted, Jhaj’s character ignites a huge blaze that sets fire to two police vehicles and a BBC lorry.

Jhaj was wearing a “grotesque evil villain mask” in the scene, according to the Mail, but was recognized by the film crew and special effects technicians who had been addressing him as “Toby" after he took off the mask. He reportedly offered the crew financial incentives of up to £5,000 to continue working after they pulled out once they knew who he really was.

A source exclusively told MailOnline: “He has apparently got form in terms of setting up fictitious films and things like that, hiding the agenda and his identity from the legitimate and professional businesses and individuals that get booked via a separate production company to carry out the film work.”

“Now we think this one was a giant F U to the BBC, the police and the newspapers for outing him for the offenses that he was committed or charged with.”

Jhaj organized another team of technicians, reportedly from eastern Europe, to try again to film the scene on last Saturday, this time with high explosives. The scene did not go according to plan with vehicles exploding at different times and the contracted firefighters not being able to quickly extinguish the blaze. One source told the Mail that it was a 'complete disaster' and added, “So that could have been very, very nasty had the fire crew been allowed to get in any closer. So all in all, it was, pardon my French, a bit of a s**t show.”

One video posted on Reddit confirms that Jhaj was naked during the shoot as he strolled past firefighters and watched the black smoke ascend to the sky. The BBC has denied having any connection with the film. “There is no BBC News involvement in the events of this evening in docklands,” a company spokesman told the Mail.
