CHARLIE KIRK: Republican lawmakers 'know deep down they actually live in an enemy-occupied country'

"The beast will eat itself.”

In the midst of a whirlwind of news surrounding Donald Trump’s possible bid for the Speaker of the House, Charlie Kirk took a moment to update his audience on the chaotic civil court case Trump is currently battling in New York on his show Thursday.

He began by playing a clip of Letitia James attacking Trump’s voluntary court appearances at the trial.

James states to eager journalists outside the courtroom that “Trump's comments were offensive” and “unfortunately fomented violence.”

She continued, “comments that I would describe as race-baiting. And comments, unfortunately, that appeals to the bottom of our humanity. This case was brought simply because it was a case where individuals have engaged in a pattern and practice of fraud. And I will not sit idly by and allow anyone to subvert the law. And lastly, I will not be bullied.”

She then said that the former President “is no longer here. The Donald Trump show is over. This was nothing more than a political stunt.”

Responding to the clip, Kirk began “I think it was really smart for Trump to show up. Trump didn't have to show up at a civil trial. He decided to show up and sit through it. What he did is he changed the media narrative around the whole thing. Very, very smart.”

He continued, “Donald Trump leaned right in, sits right there during that trial where that judge is smirking and smiling for the cameras.”

“We are now in the next phase of the Cultural Revolution,” he averred. “We're living through lawfare.”

He listed the NRA, Project Veritas, Steve Bannon, Dinesh D’Souza and Grand Canyon University as entities and people that the left is actively trying to “take out” or lock up.

“I don't think the rank and file in DC understand what's really going on with the regime,” he averred. “Surgical strikes, [the Democrats] have a whole war room dedicated to this. And of course, Donald Trump's at the top of the list.”

Kirk noted that the right has “no such war room to counter this stuff, no such strategy as to how we solve it.”

“When I talk to Republican lawmakers, though,” he continued, “it’s like, ‘Oh, I hope it gets better’ or they don't really have an answer. They're terrified. They're afraid.”

“They know deep down they actually live in an enemy-occupied country.”

“The Democrats, they smell blood they see that they can eliminate basically the entire infrastructure on the right.”

Kirk mentioned that Ruth Marcus, a writer for the Washington Post declared in an Op-Ed that “Trump's fraud case is completely unprecedented. Completely and totally unprecedented.”

“So even some Democrats might be wondering, like, ‘guys, are we creating the KGB?’” He concluded, “Yeah, you are and they're gonna come after you next… the beast will eat itself.”
