Rand Paul, pro-choice advocate

Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) teed off against the anti-choice extremists of the Obama administration during an Energy and Natural Resources Committee meeting in March of 2011.  I saw the video flying around on Twitter today, thanks to bloggers Instapundit and  Say Uncle, who offers it as a prime exhibit in the case for Rand Paul for President.

It's a bravura performance, with half of it technically qualifying as a "rant" or "tirade," except Paul delivers the whole thing in the same tone of voice he might use to lecture a patient at his eye clinic about the dangers of sitting too close to the TV.  Then the lady from the Administration, Energy Department Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency Kathleen Hogan, gets her chance to talk, and it just gets worse for her.  I'm not sure she's really responsible for much of what Paul dumps on her, but then again, most of us aren't responsible for the stuff this Administration expects us to pay for.
