NATALIE WINTERS: 'Chris Wray, stepping down will not make our appetite for justice dissipate'

"I would love for Chris Wray to just be able to present us a list of the good stuff that he's done, but I think he'd probably only need one sheet of paper because it's not a very long one."

Jack Posobiec hosted War Room co-host Natalie Winters on Wednesday's episode of Human Events Daily to discuss Christopher Wray's resignation as FBI Director, news that had broke just as the show was starting.

Winters emphasized that Wray would need to be questioned about both what he did do, specifically "shepherding the mass weaponization of the FBI against the American people," and what he didn't do, namely tackling the influence of the CCP, human trafficking and the flow of fentanyl through the US southern border.

"I would love for Chris Wray to just be able to present us a list of the good stuff that he's done, but I think he'd probably only need one sheet of paper because it's not a very long one," the War Room host said.

Posobiec then pointed out that Wray failed to protect President-elect Donald Trump from two assassination attempts before Winters added that he also failed to deliver any sort of useful information about Hunter Biden's hard drive or make any strides towards tightening election integrity after 2020.

"I know this is obviously a happy day for I mean, what really are, I think, the millions of Americans who have been affected by the weaponization of this FBI in particular," Winters said, cautioning "now we have the chance ... to go after people who've gone after us for so long but we need our Republicans in Congress to actually do their job."

She noted that Wray "represents a connective tissue" between media and political forces within the deep state. "I think he likes to sort of LARP and masquerade under the idea that Trump appointed him. He's a Republican, but we've seen just how much damage people like that can actually do."

"But make no mistake, Chris Wray, we know you're probably watching," Winters warned. "Stepping down, resigning is not going to make our appetite for actual accountability, justice, retribution, revenge, whatever you want to call it, I say it's justice, dissipate in any way, shape or form, because what you have done to this country is something that we're not going to merely look past because you decided to submit a letter of resignation."
