Jack Posobiec on IMF head praising US immigration surge for keeping wages low: This benefits the elites who 'view you as debt pigs'

On Thursday's episode of Human Events Daily, host Jack Posobiec called out the statement made by the International Monetary Fund's head, praising the illegal immigration surge in the United States for keeping American wages low.

IMF's managing director, Kristalina Georgieva, said this in mid-April after being asked about why the US' economic growth has been outpacing Europe. She answered that it is due to the "abundant labor coming across the border."

"A surge in immigration has made the U.S. economy more competitive by preventing wages from rising more than they otherwise would have," the Wall Street Journal cites her as saying.

“It creates a domestic political problem,” she stated. “Not everybody who crosses the border adds positively to the economy. But that labor supply also gave to the United States another comparative advantage: Wages are not pushing up, because there is no strong pressure because of lack of labor."

"Gee, sounds a lot like she's saying the great replacement is in full effect," Posobiec said in response. "When are people going to wake up?"

Meanwhile, The Telegraph released a report stating that "migration has failed to drive economic growth" and has "made the housing crisis worse" in the UK.

"Here's what's going on," Posobiec said, "The higher immigration is pushing down wages, which of course creates competition for housing prices, which of course creates competition for all of the vast supply here. What does this mean? This means housing prices go up. This means that healthcare prices go up."

Essentially, prices in most sectors go up in the US except for goods actually made in the US, he explained.

He continued: "Who does it benefit? Who do higher prices benefit? Who does this 'comparative advantage' benefit? Well, it benefits the 1 percent. It benefits the elites. It benefits everyone at the top but at the expense of everyone else who lives in the country."

"Guess what? They view you as debt pigs. They view you as debt slaves. Do you want to wake up? Do you want a country that you can grow a family in? Shut down immigration."
