Two German schoolgirls accused of stabbing classmate to death, then dancing on TikTok

The brutal murder of a 12-year-old girl by two classmates has shaken Germany, as the TikTok presence of the alleged killers have revealed a possible motive for the unthinkable crime: a fight over a boy.

As the Daily Mail reports, the 12- and 13-year-old perpetrators posted disturbing videos to TikTok after their friend Luise's disappearance on March 11. In one video, the unnamed girls were dancing just a day after they allegedly stabbed their victim, whose last name hasn't been released. In another video, the pair pleaded for help to find Luise, despite knowing where her body was.

In the comments on their profiles, which have since been disabled, other classmates shared theories of what happened, "which indicate that a boy was involved."

Under their shameless videos, "many of the girls' classmates" reportedly brought up that the "best friends" supposedly fought over an unnamed boy.

One person wrote: "When your chair in the classroom was empty this morning, we all knew what was going on."

Another classmate said, "I can't believe you're posting a dance video the day after the murder."

Another theory on the motivation behind stabbing Luise after she left a sleepover at the 13-year-old girl's house stems from "revenge" after she reported their alleged bullying to an adult.

On that fateful Saturday following her one-night stay at one of the killers' homes, the trio of girls walked to a wooded area on the outskirts of Freudenberg, a town in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, where the murder allegedly took place. Her body was found with over 30 stab wounds the next day.

The two suspects were seen by a neighbor luring Luise into the woods, and later "made statements about the matter and in the end admitted the crime," according to the police.

"Investigators have yet to locate the 'small knife' used in the crime," Daily Mail reported.

After the stabbing, the girls returned to the 13-year-old's house, where the younger girl was later picked up by her father.

Afterwards, the older girl called Luise's parents and told them a tale of lies, saying Luise started making her way back home at 5.30pm and wanted to let her know once she had arrived.

"After more than 40 years in the job you still get cases that leave you speechless," said Jürgen Süs, the head of the Koblenz police board.

The school that all of the girls attended posted a message of condolences for Luise.

"We lost our pupil, classmate and friend Luise at the weekend," said the Esther-Bejarano comprehensive school in a statement.

"Far too early, she was violently torn from our midst and from her family. Our thoughts and wishes are with her family and friends now and in the coming days."
