The Justice Department said Friday it indicted Trump’s former trade adviser Peter Navarro on a contempt of Congress charge after he failed to comply with a subpoena from the House January 6th Inquisition.

A grand jury indicted Navarro on two counts of contempt of Congress, the Justice Department announced on Friday.

As reported by Just the News, this week, Navarro said FBI agents served him with a subpoena demanding his testimony before a grand jury about his alleged part in attempting to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

Navarro said the subpoena also compelled him to comply with the Inquisition subpoena, to which he had failed to respond. Due to his failure to respond, the House voted to hold him in contempt back in April.
