In a letter to the White House, the National School Board Association attacked Turning Point USA over its School Board Watchlist project, claiming it spreads misinformation.

“Other groups are posting watchlists against school boards and spreading misinformation that boards are adopting critical race theory curriculum and working to maintain online learning by haphazardly attributing it to COVID-19,” the association’s letter reads.

The group’s letter, addressed to Joe Biden, argues that public schools and education leaders are under an “immediate threat” and requests federal law enforcement deal with the “growing number of threats of violence and acts of intimidation occurring across the nation.”

Indeed, Turning Point USA previously launched a new project to target school board members across the country that seek to incriminate those who protest mask mandates, critical race theory and other anti-American sentiments.

The School Board Watchlist was launched as school board meetings across the country have grown increasingly tense. The website features a database of nearly every school board member in the country and includes information on policies, board meetings and more.

“Radical Leftist school boards from coast to coast have launched an unprecedented attack on America’s schools, families, children, and heritage,” a press release read, “and TPUSA will NOT stand by as the future of our nation is corrupted with anti-American lessons.”
