The CDC advisory committee voted Thursday to recommend that children ages 5 to 11 receive the Pfizer COVID-19 booster shot.

As previously reported by *Human Events News*, Pfizer announced on Tuesday that the FDA expanded its emergency use authorization of the vaccine to include children between the ages of 5 and 11. The Pfizer vaccine is currently the only one available for children under the age of 18.
