The FOX12 news reports:

SALEM, OR (KPTV) – Two years ago, Wayne Floyd said very few women were customers of his Salem gun shop.

Today, it’s a different story at Blackwater Tactical, and statistics show more women than ever own a gun.

Floyd teaches concealed handgun classes every week. During a recent session, a group of female friends, who work mostly as real estate agents, attended for an unconventional “girls’ night out.”

“I’m meeting clients in vacant properties, open houses, you meet lots of strangers,” said Vera Stanley.
