A bad solution to the wrong problem

The Obama Administration’s response to the synagogue attack in Jerusalem goes beyond moral equivalence, into blatant amorality and utter madness.

I lost five brothers yesterday.  Five brothers, four scholars and Rabbis and a Druze hero who tried with all his might to just save lives, and gave his own.

Five brothers who were murdered by the European Union and by Federica Mogherini the European Union‚??s foreign policy chief, and by the United Nations.

Five brothers, three were born Americans, one was born British and the fifth was born in Israel: Rabbi Moshe Twersky, 59, Yeshiva Head of the Torat Moshe yeshiva and grandson of legendary Boston Rabbi Joseph Dov Soloveitchik (here); Rabbi Kalman Levine, 55; Rabbi Aryeh Kupinsky, 43; and Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Goldberg, 68,who had Israeli-British citizenship.

Rasan and Oudai Abu Jamal were cousins from Jabel Mukaber. ¬†The families hailed the terrorists as heroes and martyrs, and passed out candies to celebrate. ¬†‚??This act is something normal for any person who is connected to his people, to courage and to Islam. ¬†We got the usual death notification and we shouted with joy, people here also handed out candies to guests who came to visit and were happy for the martyrs.” ¬†(here)

Arab Jerusalem residents throw stones at the Light Rail, serving them. ¬†That is ‚??normal‚?Ě for those who consider murder normal. ¬†Think warily about what it says that a Muslim Arab can describe the horrendous murder of scholars at prayer as ‚??normal.‚?Ě ¬†None of them excuse it as aberration, as desperation of demented or deluded persons. ¬†This is a ‚??normal‚?Ě cause for jubilation.

The EU‚??s favourite liar said: “The Palestinian presidency has always condemned the killing of civilians on both sides, and condemns today the killing of worshipers in a house of worship in west Jerusalem. ¬†It also condemns all acts of violence from whatever source and demands an end to invasions of Al-Aqsa mosque, to the provocations of settlers, and to the incitement of certain Israeli ministers.”

There was no ‚??invasion‚?Ě of Al-Aqsa, now or ever. ¬†This is a lie. ¬†In Israel, there is no incitement ‚?? it is illegal and strictly enforced, it is a lie. ¬†This is not condemnation; it is incitement looking hopefully for the next bloodshed.

What is on Jerusalem streets yesterday and today?  Rage!  Rage such I has very seldom been seen.  There is also grief, of course, and sadness; atypical rage.

I live in a neighbourhood in what Europe calls “West” Jerusalem (actually, it is South, but sense is as rare there as truth). ¬†It is called Qiryat Yoval. ¬†It is called, by them, a ‚??Jewish‚?? neighbourhood. ¬†Hundreds of Arabs live here, young and old. ¬†Nobody bothers them. ¬†Many are students, there are several dormitories.

Mogherini and Europe have no problem when Arabs live in a “Jewish” neighbourhood ‚?? whether a purchased or rental flat. ¬†Arabs are ‘allowed’ to live anywhere they choose. ¬†If a Jew purchases a flat in an area they consider “East” then that person is a criminal in their eyes. ¬†In simple language, this is called racist antisemitism ‚?? which, unfortunately, is what Europe has long taught us to us to expect ‚?? that that is the only thing we should expect. ¬†They pretend moral equivalency when it can be turned against Israel and total difference when it, in turn, is more convenient. ¬†This is racist antisemitism.

United Nations, UNESCO, UNWRA, Mogherini and Europe continue to assiduously fund textbooks that are devoted to murder of Jews (first).  This is racist antisemitism.

After the murder I went to the market. ¬†On my way to the bus, a young Arab lady crossed in front of me. ¬†For the first time in my life, I felt an urge to hurt her, for simple revenge (I didn’t of course ‚?? I / we don’t reduce ourselves to their level).

Mogherini and European governments said the usual empty phrases. ¬†The words mean exactly nothing ‚?? or worse.

Obama is just as bad: ‚??…tragically, this is not the first loss of lives that we have seen in recent months. Too many Israelis have died, too many Palestinians have died. ¬†Obviously, we condemn in the strongest terms this attack.‚?Ě

Is this madness? ¬†‚??Too many Israelis, too many Palestinians.‚?Ě ¬†The Israelis were murdered in cold blood by barbaric acts that were then celebrated in the streets and are praised by the Palestinian Authority. ¬†The ‚??Palestinians‚?? died while perpetrating attacks; as murders should. ¬†This is not even ‚??moral equivalency‚??, and not even perfidy. ¬†It is blatant amorality. ¬†It is a divorce from morality.

Peter Kassig was captured in eastern Syria on 1 Oct. 2013 delivering relief supplies to Syrian Arabs.  He was acting for the aid group HE founded.  Kassig formerly converted to Islam and took the name Abdul-Rahman Kassig.  Now, try to pay attention.  He was delivering relief TO ARABS.  He had converted TO Islam.  All the Western folks beheaded by Islamic State were persons who worked FOR them!  Hamas is ISIS.  ISIS is Hamas.

Arabs hate. ¬†That is the basis of their culture. ¬†‚??Two States‚?Ě will not change that, but will make the murderers more efficient ‚??exactly what Mogherini and European Governments desire.

Arabs hate traitors, even when these are for them. ¬†Paying attention yet, Oh Liberals? ¬†Your ‚??protection‚?? for these ‚??Palestinians‚?? will not protect you. ¬†You will be the first ones to be killed, and in the MOST brutal manner ‚?? while your daughters are sold into sex slavery. ¬†Neither your own stupidity nor your antisemitism will help you.

Whatever!  But Israelis are probably to blame!
