ATW: Antioch man shoots armed home invader

The 4HD WSMV news reports:

ANTIOCH, TN (WSMV) – An Antioch man who shot an armed and masked home invader who walked into his home on Tuesday told police he did so in self-defense.

John McCormick, 34, was at home in the 5700 block of Longbranch with his five children who were off of school Tuesday.

Around 9 a.m., McCormick was watching TV while two of his children were playing outside and his wife was asleep on the couch.

“I was sitting in my recliner in my living room and a guy walked through my door with a gun and said he wanted all my money,” McCormick said.
