ATW: St. Louis homeowner who shot burglar is arrested for being a felon with gun

Does a homeowner have the right to defend themselves–if they are a felon?

The St. Louis Post – Dispatch reports:
ST. LOUIS ? Police have arrested a St. Louis homeowner who shot and critically injured a would-be burglar trying to kick in the back door of his home.

But the homeowner wasn??t arrested for shooting the burglar…
