More Winter Means More Profits and a 12.9 Percent Yield (DividendChannel)

As long as Mother Nature keeps throwing winter hay-makers at the United States, weâ??ll keep our eyes on power companies tasked with keeping Americans warm.  Todayâ??s entry is a bargain-priced power generation company, Atlantic Power (AT), which sells electricity to utilities and other commercial enterprises. This Boston, Mass-based company generates a robust 12.9-percent dividend yield and, from all indications, looks to be ready to blow past its current, under-$3 share price. At least, thatâ??s what four of the companyâ??s insiders are betting. At the end of February, these four insiders acquired nearly 80,000 total AT shares. You know something good is in the immediate future when company insiders load up.
