Today’s declines were partially due to service industry growth which failed to meet expectations. ??Today is just noise back and forth, up a little down a little,? Donald Selkin, the New York-based chief market strategist at National Securities Corp., said. ??I think we??re just going to go sideways until we see the Fed??s minutes and the jobs report on Friday.?
