Housing Starts Grow in November

Housing Starts Grow in November (CNBC)

The Commerce Department released a report today saying that November housing starts increased to the highest level seen since February 2008. Mortgage rates, which had increased due to anticipated tapering earlier in the year, had depressed the housing market, with slower starts seen in September and October. Homebuilder confidence also rose in December, which is a good sign for the overall housing market.
