Germany, France and Spain all saw positive trends in car sales in October, in stark contrast to the first half of 2013. European car sales had slumped to their lowest six-month total in 20 years. Spainâ??s fantastic sales growth of 34.3% was buoyed by a government-backed incentive program. “It’s clear that we have reached the bottom and there are already some signs of recovery,” said Renault’s French sales chief Bernard Cambier.
