The last U.S. House race was decided over the weekend in Louisiana, but the deciding factor was not about which candidate was more conservative.

MSNBC panelist: Clarence Thomas is ‚??a symbolic Jew” who’s invited a “metaphoric Hitler” to commit genocide

Um. What?

Appearing on MSNBC’s Martin Bashir show, panelist Michael Eric Dyson had this to say about Clarence Thomas‚?? vote to roll back a key Voting Rights Act provision.

Clarence Thomas‚?? actions here today ‚?? though consistent, though tragic to me ‚?? are even more so in light of the bulk of decisions he‚??s rendered in the name of a judicial vote on the Supreme Court. A symbolic Jew has invited a metaphoric Hitler to commit holocaust and genocide upon his own people.

‚??A symbolic Jew‚?Ě? A ‚??metaphoric Hitler‚?Ě? But a real genocide? Does he mean that Thomas’ belief in racial equality is tantamount to a Jew siding with Hitler? Does that mean conservatives are Hitler? Does the ruling mean those ¬†counties which are no longer forced to ask the¬†Department of Justice for permission before changing voting laws will now focus on building more those concentration camps they’ve wanted?

I‚??m not sure if I should be more offended as a Jew, an American or a person that believes in the English language.
