Above is a word cloud of the Democratic National Convention platform.
For those of you too busy to read through the uplifting ode to state-sponsored living, the cloud gives you a sense of which words and ideas are driving the Democrats as they assemble in Charlotte this week at the Bank of America Stadium.
There aren’t many surprises. You‚??ll notice, no doubt, that the most prevalent words are “Democrats,” “support,” “president” and Obama,” which pretty much sums up the ¬†governing philosophy of the party these days.
Words I don’t see are ¬†‚??freedom,‚?Ě ‚??liberty” or Constitution. ¬†No “free enterprise” (though free abortion and condoms are a go!) or “capitalism,” though we do have “communities” and “government.”
