In an exclusive video interview, the junior senator from Utah said that Senate Republicans will offer an alternative to the president’s budget.

As the Obama administration prepares to unveil their budget on Monday, freshman Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) is set to declare war, telling HUMAN EVENTS that he is convinced the White House is “still wed to the concept” of making some Americans pay more taxes than others. Lee predicted that Senate Republicans would lead a major fight against tax increases of any kind.

The freshman conservative also said there would be an alternative budget offered by his colleagues. Lee spoke to us at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington D.C.
