In episode two of “Gizzi’s America,” John interviews long-time Iowa GOP party leader Kim Schmett.

John Gizzi interviews Kim Schmett, a political consultant and longtime GOP party leader in Iowa. Schmett, an attorney, has served as the director of the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals in 1996 in Gov. Branstad’s cabinet. Schmett served as chief of staff to Congressman Greg Ganske from 1999 until 2003 and has served as the executive director for the Coalition for Family and Children’s Services in Iowa.

John Gizzi is also a credentialed correspondent at the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
