Prison Radicalization Hearings Get Radical

Rep. Peter King (R-NY), chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, has been holding hearings on the radicalization of the Muslim community in America.  Today his hearings covered the radicalization of prison inmates, where a good deal of Islamic extremist recruiting has been going on.  Al-Qaeda has a large number of both entry-level and management openings these days.

A gentle lady ventured to suggest that Rep. King’s concerns are founded in racism.  His response has an equally gentle beginning, but after about a minute, he hits the end of the runway and reaches takeoff speed.  Be sure to watch until the end, when he raises a very salient point about those are trying to distract him from his purpose by complaining about all the other unsavory groups operating behind bars.
