Police Visit Home Of 17-Year-Old Weiner Girl

Fox News is reporting police have visited the New Castle, Delaware home of a 17-year-old girl who was in communicating with scandal-torn Democrat Anthony Weiner, who has become infamous for sending lewd text and visual material to his online contacts.

According to the Fox report, “two officers from the New Castle County Police Department arrived at the girl’s home around 4:30 p.m. and asked to speak with the girl’s mother about the daughter’s contact with Weiner. Another officer appeared at the home a short time later.”

The cops spent about half an hour at the home, and after they left, the girl and her mother departed in a separate car.  It’s not yet clear if they were heading downtown to continue the conversation with authorites.

The girl reportedly followed Weiner on Twitter after seeing him speak during a school trip in April.  Weiner apparently sent her at least one direct message.  Uh-oh.

Meanwhile, the rest of the media was frantically trying to manufacture a story about Sarah Palin’s old email messages out of thin air.  The attempt failed catastrophically.  No injuries were reported.
