“The demon is the mob, and the mob is demonic.”
And with that opening, Ann Coulter launches yet another damning salvo at liberalism in her brand-new book, Demonic: How the Liberal Mob Is Endangering America.
We sat down with Coulter, who’s a legal correspondent for HUMAN EVENTS, for an interview about Demonic, in which she seeks to get to the bottom of what makes liberals tick.
Coulter tells us that she could never understand how liberals can go to so many impressive colleges “and yet they seem so stupid.” That is until now. Coulter says that in the course of her research she’s concluded that today’s liberals hit every behavioral pattern of “groupthink,” or as she dubs it, the “mob.”
In Part One of our interview, Coulter astutely describes that while liberals push for “innovation” on the subjects of “thousand-year-old institutions like marriage,” they are actually “hide-bound traditionalists” when it comes to scientific innovation. Hence the banning of incandescent lightbulbs!
“My entire life I keep hearing about how Christians are anti-science. Nope. In my lifetime it was liberals screaming about Alar on apples and wanting to shut down nuclear power.”
More of our exclusive interview with Ann Coulter coming all this week. Oh, and by the way, HUMAN EVENTS published an exclusive excerpt from Demonic (“Civil Rights and the Mob: George Wallace, Bull Connor, Orval Faubus And Other Democrats”), which you can read here.
