The U.S.S. Medicare

Senator Harry Reid (D-Nev.) says that his party has no plans to make changes to Medicare, despite its over $24 trillion in unfunded liabilities, instead repeating the liberal mantra of “having a responsibility to take care of our senior citizens.”

His reminiscence of his time working in a hospital district in Nevada before Medicare is touching, but one can’t help but wonder that he doesn’t even flinch at an unfunded liabilities number almost twice the size of the entire current national debt.
