State-Funded Teen Website Steers Girls to Planned Parenthood

Considering the state that supports this abomination is Massachusetts, we don’t expect any furor, at least from the majority of the folks there. Yet this exposes some interesting insight into the mindset of the folks from Big Abortion, a/k/a/ Planned Parenthood, as the offending site links to the “services” they render.

As told by the Boston Herald, the website,, steers teenagers to abortion mills and counsels them on how to keep their parents oblivious as to what’s going on. “The commonwealth is using taxpayer money to tell kids how to get a secret abortion, and that’s wrong,” said Linda Thayer,  the  vice president for educational affairs of Massachusetts Citizens for Life. “This is a misuse of state funds, especially for parents who are taxpayers,” Thayer said, in an obvious understatement.

The site has all sorts of informative links peddling some rather dubious advice. “A woman can get pregnant even without having vaginal sex! If the man cums close enough to the outside of the vagina for the sperm to start swimming up inside her, she can totally become pregnant even without having had sex (as if there wasn’t enough to worry about already)!  Even before a man cums, he may release sperm in his pre-cum.”

Like, totally!

Now what would friendly full-service website be without directions to Planned Parenthood? Enter a local zip code there (try 02215 as an example) and before you know it you’ve arrived at Planned Parenthood of Massachusetts. Remember though, their goal is to make abortion safe, legal and rare. Or something like that. Their “Who We Are” page has all sorts of wondrous visions of the future, which is ironic considering the future of any fetus on their property is pretty much non-existent.

As to any messy side effects, Maria helpfully reminds kids not to worry. “Maria tells teen readers abortion is a “hot topic” but that the procedure is “more common than you might think” and “safe and effective, though some people may experience temporary discomfort.” The site’s discussion of risk is limited to advising that it is better to get an abortion sooner rather than later.”

Sure, some temporary discomfort, or perhaps, hospitalization after a botched abortion. “The Planned Parenthood caller, in the 911 phone transcript, says, “We have a patient bleeding. She’s 16. We just did an abortion on her.” “

Pro-abortion Planned Parenthood supporters will recite the canard they’re only there to provide cancer screenings for poor women. Tell that to the 16-year-old girl who may have been rendered infertile. They also claim they don’t provide abortions to young women under 18, which is curious given their history and Maria’s own words: “I know it sounds crazy . . . this really can be done and young women do this all the time here in Massachusetts.”

Another champion of “choice” also hails Maria Talks: NARAL Pro-Choice America Executive Director Andrea Miller called Maria Talks “terrific.”

It would be terrific is taxpayers were given a “choice” and didn’t have to support this obscenity.
