Rescue Attempt For Captured Family Fails

The Danish family captured by pirates two weeks ago remains in captivity, following a thwarted attempt by Somalian government forces to rescue them.

According to the Associated Press, a pirate spokesman said the government forces were ambushed, and several were killed and captured.  A security official based in Nairobi has confirmed the report.
