Kasich Makes Comeback

Ten years after he made a brief bid for President and retired from the House, John Kasich is back.  The former House Budget Committee chairman and foe of government spending won the governorship of Ohio, ousting Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland.  Kasich hit hard at Strickland’s tax increase and ran on a plan to end the Buckeye State’s income tax.

Along with Kasich, State Auditor and fellow conservative Mary Taylor was elected lieutenant governor.
