VIDEO: Cut, Baby, Cut

Mike Pence asked what federal programs and agencies he would eliminate.

Okay, let’s say that Republicans do regain control of Congress this November. And let’s even stipulate that they muster the number of votes needed to throw Barack’s derriere out of office come 2012. Then what? Specifically, what unconstitutional programs AND federal agencies will the GOP seek to eliminate? Seriously.

Since Obama became president (sigh), Republicans have been talking a good game about “limited government” and “free enterprise,” but when they were in power, government domestic spending exploded to levels not seen in 40 years. Granted, Barack took an already large deficit and jacked it up to mind-boggling, trillion dollar levels. But that shouldn’t be surprising. Liberal politicians have always embraced our economy as though your wallet is their personal debit card. Republicans, however, brag that what separate them from leftists are the guiding principles of free markets and a constrained federal government.

So, Congressman Mike Pence: What bureaucracies will your colleagues gut in order to restore economic freedom in this country once you resume power? Don’t miss his response in a HUMAN EVENTS exclusive.

What do you the think of Pence’s answer? How much do you trust the GOP to eliminate superfluous government departments and reform insolvent welfare entitlements?
