Pence Won’t Run Against Bayh

The implication is that the gentleman from Indiana might be flirting with a Presidential bid in 2012.

Over at our sister site RedState.com, sources are saying Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) will not run for the United States Senate, as many have speculated.

Pence will send a letter to supporters later today in which he’ll write, "First because I have been given the responsibility to shape the Republican comeback as a member of the House Republican Leadership and, second, because I believe Republicans will win back the majority in the House of Representatives in 2010."

More interestingly, the same sources leaking that he won’t run for the Senate also have pointed out the whirlwind travel tour the congressman is about to engage in on behalf of Republicans and conservatives around the country.
