GOP Representatives Name Worst Decision Obama’s Made So Far

What do John Boehner, Michele Bachmann, and Virginia Foxx think is the worst decision Obama’s made as president?

HUMAN EVENTS asked a few Republican leaders on the Hill what Obama’s worst decision has been since he took office in January 2009.

House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio): Spending. “Along with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, he [Obama] set a disastrous, job-killing, and irresponsible fiscal course — with a trillion-dollar “stimulus” bill, a budget that doubles the debt in five years and triples it in 10, and a torrent of other new spending and bailouts — that will leave our children and grandchildren a crushing mountain of debt.”

Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.): Policies towards terrorists. “Closing Gitmo and granting unlawful enemy combatants civilian trials instead of using proven military trials was a major misstep. This decision undermined the federal government’s primary constitutional responsibility, our national security.”

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.): Big government. “…the President’s proclivity to have government take over private industry through either direct ownership or control.  Meanwhile, the President’s failure to appreciate the aggressive plans of sharia-compliant terrorists has left Americans more vulnerable financially and less safe from terrorists.”
