1. Carville Poll: Just One-Third of Voters Support Obamacare

Here’s a shot of cold water for Democrats figuring out how to force an unpopular health care rationing bill through, despite the fact that it’s proving an incredibly hard lift even in liberal Massachusetts. Even Democratic pollster James Carville – and his partner, Stanley Greenberg – are finding that American voters are decisively against the proposal. Not only that, Carville’s most recent poll – which he has not discussed or promoted since it was quietly posted last week – shows that as Democrats have focused on health care over the last few months, their ratings are collapsing. 2. Rep. Chris Van Hollen Elected to the “Stupid Comment Hall of Fame”

So the Coakley vs. Brown MA SEN race is for Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat, right? Apparently Chris Van Hollen forgot this fact when he stated: "Why would you hand the keys to the car back to the same guys whose policies drove the economy into the ditch and then walked away from the scene of the accident?" …into a ditch and then walked away“? A DITCH? Really? REALLY? Please click here for the rest of the post.

3. Are MA voters rejecting MA’s universal health care?

All politics is local, or so said former Speaker Tip O’Neill (D-MA). One wonders if Democrats lost the thread of what was happening in Massachusetts when they tried to nationalize the Massachusetts Senate special election around Barack Obama’s universal health care plan. You see, Obama’s plan borrowed much conceptually from Massachusetts plan that Ted Kennedy and Mitt Romney worked on. The key concepts: a mandate implemented through the tax code, exchanges, and an increase in the regulatory burden on insurance plans and therefore costs. Indeed, the costs of health care in Massachusetts are rising and people are dissatisfied. Please click here for the rest of the post.

4. American Voters Beginning To Hold Democrats To Account

It’s important that, before the outcome of the Coakley-Brown contest is known, we ‘take stock’ of how things are going for the Democrats since they took control of the Federal Government. Regardless the winner of Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat, Americans are beginning to understand what they actually have to show for a year’s worth of life under a Government completely controlled by the Democrat party. They’re not impressed. Please click here for the rest of the post.
