Eagle Publishing, Inc., announced Thursday that Joseph Guerriero joined the company this week as Vice President and Group Publisher. Guerriero is responsible for Eagle’s fast-growing publications for the geopolitical marketplace.
“As leader of Eagle’s GeoPolitical Division, Joe will have a mandate to lead and grow many key areas of the company, including HUMAN EVENTS both print and online, Redstate.com, and our geopolitical electronic newsletters,” noted Eagle Publishing President Jeff Carneal. “He will also shepherd our expanding advertising sales and e-commerce efforts.”
In addition to his extensive sales and e-business experience, Guerriero has led the launch, turnaround or expansion of several successful publications including Success and Billboard magazines. In 2002, he won Folio Magazine’s Ozzie Award for launching the best business-to-business web site at HealthLeaders, Inc. Early in his career, he was recruited by Crain Communications, Inc., to launch a magazine targeting physician executives. The magazine achieved commercial success in its second year and then expanded from 12 to 24 issues annually. Guerriero earned a bachelor’s degree at Manhattanville College.
“Eagle Publishing is the leading voice for conservative news, analysis and commentary in the country,” Guerriero said. “The team here at Eagle is top-notch. I look forward to working with everyone in order to launch new products and grow our existing digital and print properties.”
Guerriero, his wife, Jenn, and their two young sons are in the process of relocating from New York to Washington, D.C.
